Here's Looking At You

I am thankful this Christmas I had Buckley as a friend the past eight years. He followed me home one day when I was out walking and stayed with me until he died in July.
Boy did he stay with me. He wouldn't let me get out of his sight for a minute. If I went to another room in the house, he was close behind. While I realize it was his time to pass, it's been a difficult six months without him.

Millie In Ambient Light

This photo of Millie was taken with an ISO of 3200. I was trying to demonstrate "noise" for a digital camera class. I was surprised there was so little noise.

Downtown In December

It's December 1st.
What's more
fitting than a
Church and
street light
decorations?

Old Church

You wouldn't
know this church
was close to
downtown Sioux
Falls. I hope
someone saves it.

Main Street Church

This is a good time
for church
photography.
I got some
nice shots this
morning with a
partly cloudy sky.

Town Anchor

A Thanksgiving remembrance.
I didn't shop on the day after Thanksgiving, instead I worked on a photograph of a church.

Seasons Change

It can't be stopped. Winter is here. Some people actually like cold weather and snow.

Dock At Sunrise

The dock is the leading line in the composition of this photograph of a man fishing in the early morning.

Red On White

What better contrast than a cherry cheesecake on a white background. Color contrast gives this photo of day-to-day objects some interest.

Toxic White

It's October and all of the summer's plant life is dying off, even the weeds.

Goldfield Arizona Church

This old church photo is a black & white hand colored with pastels. Fitting image for the times we are going through. Maybe faith will help us out.

All Ears

The hardest part of taking Victor's photo was getting him to sit still. It's a good thing puppies tire easily.

Discovery

You would be surprised too, if while hiking at the Palisades park you came upon this skull wedged in between two rock formations.

Fall Colors

If you can't find fall leaves on trees try photographing some on top of a light box. It might be considered a nature photograph by some.
