Ice Walking

A not so camera shy Goose shows how to walk on ice.

With a little help from photoshop I captured reluctant ice skating geese at Arrowhead park.

Goose Skating

The geese on the small pond at Arrowhead Park walked very carefully on the ice. This one seemed to almost lose it's balance. It was a cold overcast day which enhanced the colors and resulted in a short camera shoot outing.

UC Stairway

I've been instructing an OLLI workshop on Picasa at the University Center and took this photo of a stairway at the Center for use in class.

The image appeals to me because of the diagonal lines of the stairway in contrast to the rectangular lines of the window.

Brown Pears on Black

Trying to work with negative space. I'm not sure I understand the concept but I know its important and can add balance to a photograph.
